This is the first case of a police officer dying of COVID-19 in the state, they said. The police officer Devendra Kumar Chandrawanshi was posted as a town inspector of the Juni police station in Indore. Locally Producing High Grade 10K PPE Kits Daily M Madhya Pradesh has started manufacturing 10,000 personal protective equipment (PPE) kits daily for frontline warriors battling coronavirus, the state’s Additional Chief Secretary (Health) Mohammed Suleman said on Saturday. He said the treatment for COVID-19 is free in the state. “PPE kit is a very important thing. We ensured the development of the PPE kit locally. We are making 10,000 PPE kits daily in a factory at Pithampur near Indore and providing them to our people. So far we have distributed one lakh PPE kits,” he said while interacting with a group of Delhi-based journalists during a video-conference. Suleman said the state government has over 9.5 lakh of hydroxychloroquine tablets and adequate stock of N-95 masks. In his communication with the journalists across the state that lasted around one and a half hour he appealed the scribes to create an environment of boosting morale in the residents of Madhya Pradesh with their work. Madhya Pradesh has been one of the states in the country with rising cases of COVID-19 patients where the tally positive persons stood at 538 patients with 41 deaths so far. The administration however, has said that many persons who had died had associated diseases with history of illness. Singh in his appeal to the journos said we acknowledge the service of the media fraternity and it has acted as a bridge between the people and the government with the information. Appeals religious leaders for public support M Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan recently said that after the Coronavirus crisis ends, he will do a Parikrama’ (circumambulation) of Govardhan Parvat in Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh. Chauhan said, “After the Corona crisis ends, I myself will go for ‘Giriraj Ji Parikrama’.” Govardhan and its surrounding area are also called Braj Bhoomi. This is the Lilasthali of Lord Shri Krishna. It was here that Lord Krishna lifted the Govardhan mountain on his junior finger to save the Brajwasis from the wrath of Indra in Dwapar Yuga. Govardhan Parvat is also known as the devotee Giriraj Ji. Shivraj Singh Chauhan has appealed to the public that during the COVID-19 epidemic, people should not organize the functions like marriage. The biggest challenge before Chouhan was to overcome this fear and build trust among the people and restore order. Along with this, providing the necessary resources to the health staff was also the main objective. Patients Recovering Says AIIMS Bhopal Director

COVID-19: No community spread in MP Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday spoke with the director of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhopal regarding the status of COVID-19. Sarman Singh, AIIMS Director told the CM that patients are recuperating well in Bhopal and as of now there no situation of community spread. Technical advisor for the state of Madhya Pradesh on COVID-19 Lokesh Dave apprised the Chief Minister about the arrangements for treatment. Singh informed the CM that in view of the treatment of corona, the hospitals in Bhopal, including the Hamidia JK, AIIMS, JP and Chirayu hospitals are being pooled area-wise, so that the patients in one area can get medical facilities as and when required.
