Appeals religious leaders for public support M Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan recently said that after the Coronavirus crisis ends, he will do a Parikrama’ (circumambulation) of Govardhan Parvat in Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh. Chauhan said, “After the Corona crisis ends, I myself will go for ‘Giriraj Ji Parikrama’.” Govardhan and its surrounding area are also called Braj Bhoomi. This is the Lilasthali of Lord Shri Krishna.
